My life history
Where different paths meet

This is a series of booklets compiled once in 1995, and once in 2005, to reflect the profile of the students and their situations.

While the profile of the families had changed considerably over the 10 years, in terms of economic development, most of the social dynamics relevant to the role of women and girls within the household, remained the same.

While women’s participation in the work-force, or higher ages for drop-outs from education are positive factors, psychological factors remain unchanged. This has been highlighted in the Core quality empowerment classes and therefore the girls get a chance to see what factors are within their control for an effective change.
